Barberi thinks of Love Songs as the companion music CD to her book, Love and Dreams, just as she thought of Angel Music as the music CD companion to her book, The Angel Chronicles. Love Songs - like Angel Music - also stand very well on its own as magical, moving music.
Love Songs follows the theme of Love and Dreams, which says that love is much more than romantic love. Love connects us to everyone and everything we believe to be worth having. 'Without love," Barberi says, "we'd be drifting out somewhere in space."
